look: this thing is ludicrously carbonated, absolutely giant foamy head on the pour, decent sized head remains throughout, bubbles erupting within the beer, which is amber to gold in colour.
smell: almost smells like a tripel, sweet, honey and honeycomb, malty, apple, caramel, for a beer that’s only 3.8% there’s an oddly present smell of alcohol, not in a bad way, just strange.
taste: quite malty first, really earthy and leathery and grassy, somewhat like a saison, little bit of sweetness there which then gives way to a nice bit of hop bitterness on the finish, somewhat metallic, very mild once that initial malt flavour subsides but definitely pleasant.
feel: light bodied, very highly carbonated, explosion of fluffy bubbles in your mouth, dry and crisp finish.
overall: i mean, it’s more head then beer, but that beer that’s there is quite good, a unique and tasty brew, good bit a character for such a mild drink.
