Pours deep chocolaty brown with foamy light tan head with excessive lacing.
Smells of chocolate, coffee and caramel. Has a very sweet and creamy aroma.
The chocolate and caramel stand out more in the flavor than the coffee although that is also present. Has quite a smokey taste to it, yet smooth and creamy.
Has a medium to thick body with mild carbonation. It's quite smooth and creamy which compliments the flavors.
Overall is a very nice porter and worth having.

Pours black with ruby highlights. Small tan colored head is produced that leaves decent lace on the pint.
Aroma is dominated by chocolate with a faint hint of earth and charcoal and a bitter hop note hiding in the background.
Flavor is burnt and roasted caramel, hint of chocolate, coffee and peat. Burnt flavor is so dominant that it actually hides the somewhat acidic bitter finish.
Mouthfeel is full and chewy on the tongue to start then a light charcoal and acidic notes take over, rather abrupt finish.
Drinkability is decent but dominate roasted/burnt flavor amke it rather one-dimensional.
