My Wife got this one on tap tonight at Olde Peninsula. This one appeared to be a little above average with a nice dark brown color. I really didn't get much of a smell off of this beer other than maybe slight peppermint and ginger.
The beer tasted mildly of gingerbread, with a sweeter finish (coffee/chocolate). I'd have this beer again, but it wouldn't be the first beer I would order from Olde Penisula's offerings.

Pint glass on tap
Pours a nice chocolate brown color with a creamy tan head that leaves little lacing.
The ginger stands out along with nutmeg. The hops are non existent in the nose.
Ginger dominates the palate with chocolate and smokey malts that hang around in the finish.
Medium body with active carbonation. The beer is very smooth.
Pretty enjoyable. The amount of ginger prevents this from being something more.
