Thick single finger off white head on a deep brown with little light getting through body. Aroma of grapefruit, orange peel, dark chocolate, roasted malts, coffee and brown sugar, excellent. Flavor follows with a fruity start with mostly citrus but then moves to a fairly bitter and strongly acidic coffee and roasted malt flavor which dominates and lingers late. Medium to full body and moderate carbonation. The coffee is good but it makes this one really dry. Maybe to strong on the roast to be considered very drinkable but it gets better as its enjoyed.
