A - Pours out a clear, dark bronze, with a substantial off white head that fades to a substantial cap, lots of ropey lacing.
S - A straight ahead ice tea nose, lemon over a tannic tea bite. Some floral hop notes, and a touch of honey sweetness.
T - The taste is not as sweet, with the tea note coming forward, a sharp bitter bite that floats over the honey malt notes, a bit of lemon that comes out through the middle fades to pith and less descript bitterness in the close.
M - Decent carbonation with moderate weight and a bit of residual build in the close. Not a multi-beer drinker, but not unpleasant.
O - This is a flash back to old school IPAs, mostly of the East Coast variety, with big malt and bitter bite mingling to a pleasant, if not particularly original conclusion.
