This beer pours a simple dark brown with an smallish head. The aroma is not so much straight up peanut butter as butterfinger filling, with some background hints of coffee. The flavor is much less sweet than the aroma, drinking upfront like a classy, lighter porter, with notes of coffee, a touch of acidity, some green vegetable qualities, and then just a hint of peanut butter wafer, with a touch of chocolate on the finish. The mouthfeel is rather light, with sudsy carbonation. Overall this is an interesting little beer - smells dessert like, but drinks like a lightly flavored version of their standard sodbuster porter. Actually more to my taste than many more bombastic PB beers.
