On tap at George and Dragon in Barcelona.
Pours a dark brown with lighter coloring around the edges. Big ice creamesque khaki head.
Lovely big toasted malt character on this brew in the aroma and taste. Subtle sweetness. Light coffee and chocolate notes. A little reminiscent of a porter here. Medium bodied brew. Active carbonation hits the front of the tongue.
Great brown ale. There's nothing to dislike about this beer. It's fun getting to try Catalan brews!

Slight toast, milk chocolate and metallic grain on the nose, but not strongly.
Nutella (ok, maybe not quite that chocolaty) on brown toast with branch hops.
Carob finish and dry linger. Medium, creamy, some chew.
Balanced and smooth, if not revolutionary. Mouthfeel is super creamy. Who are Krut?

330ml bottle.Served in a Tumbler glass.Enjoyed on dec´11. Dark brown in color, chill haze.Beige crown,good retention.Nice & copious collars.Caramel malts, hints of ripe fruit & molasses to the nose.Dry nut notes, slightly bitter & mildy toasted malt flavors.Subtle spicy underneath.Full flavor, medium body,moderate carbonation.Smooth hoppy aftertaste, chocolate hues. Well balanced beer,pleasant drinkability.
