330ml bottle from Lidl (£1.69):
Pitch black & opaque with with half cm, foamy head that's tan coloured & cover the surface well. Darker malts & faint roasted notes open things up with a little vanilla & marshmallow sweetness soon after; I got some chocolate & brown sugar towards the end too. There is some sweetness carried over to the taste, it's toned down very slightly though but the marshmallow & vanilla flavours are both there. There's some dark malts & a richness to the beer with hints of milk chocolate & caramel. The body is smooth & somewhere around medium with a good balance & fine carbonation; it's surprisingly good & probably the best I've had from the brewery.
