Unretired it seems...
Bottle, Aldi
Pours slightly hazy reddish brown, nice creamy head.
Aroma of wood fire embers, touch of sweet caramel.
Taste of burnt wood. This fades as you go through the beer, initially it's too in your face like other smoked beers, but after a few sips it becomes less garish. However it still tastes a bit too much like pine tar.
Bitterness low, some lactic acidity?, med carb, light/med body.
Not for me but might interest some
