Looks good, is more a pale ale than an outright IPA. Decent bitterness, mild citrusy flavours , well brewed but there are many better IPAs , pale ales and bitter golden ales out there

For a Scottish IPA I was pleased by the relatively high IBU. Though not rated, the five or six other IPAs ibe had recently in Scotland were tasty but only hinted at the pop of good hops. This was the first to give me some bitter and I'm still enjoying the aftertaste. My guess? Perhaps a 50 IBU but that's just based on a mental comparison to what I'm used to in the States.

Disappointingly light gold coloured beer with a very lemony nose. This lemon is present all the way from a sweet start to a more tart finish. A pleasant bitterness lingers on the tongue. This is all about enjoying the journey from sweet to sour.

It pours a clear lemon body with slight white head
The aroma is a little understated with digestive biscuits & and some citrus
there is some honey & bitterness in the flavour but its fairly muted
This isn't terrible but not being as flavoursome as most IPAS & a bit watery
its not all that good either

Pours beautiful dark blonde. Not much distinctive on nose. Not harsh or excessive like American ipas. Medium bodied, very well balanced. Watery upfront but nicely balanced. Citrus middle, maybe some honey on the sweet malty finish. Tastes very fresh. Delicious.

A 330ml bottle with a BB of Apr 2013. Picked up a while back from Great Grog in Edinburgh. Described on the label as a traditional IPA with an addition of new world hops.
Poured into a tulip pint glass. A clear golden-amber colour with medium carbonation. Yields a large head of white foam that hangs around for a few minutes before subsiding to a surface layer. Aroma of restrained lemon/citrus notes with a background of light caramel malt, dry yeast and stewed hops.
Tastes of aromatic hops and mild malt with a dry, bitter finish. Notes of grapefruit, lemon, citrus, faint caramel malt, earthy yeast and stewed hops. Dry and slightly tart. A distinct bitterness upon swallowing. Mouthfeel is light, dry and tingly, with a mild spiciness and decent body. Somewhat astringent, with an aftertaste of dry aromatic citrus and yeast.
Quite tasty, and goes down rather nicely. Nowhere near as hoppy as a typical US IPA, but the hops hold their own against the light malt, resulting in a well-balanced beer. Refreshing and thirst-quenching - I think I'd love this on a hot day. Worth trying if you come across it.
