A very good selection of Dutch beer, but not so varied when it comes to other countries. Might be because the place is not that big. The owner is friendly and he brews his own beer there, too.

Located fairly centrally in The Hague, it is a bit off the main streets, but otherwise not hard to find.
The shop itself is rather small, but it immediately gives it a cozy feeling and shows that this isn't just another standard liquor store. The beers are organized very nicely and nothing is hard to see/get to.
The selection, while not huge, consists mostly of beers I've never seen before (or only at beer festivals and the breweries themselves). There seems to be something for everyone here, and all prices and styles are pretty clearly indicated on the shelves. Lots of very interesting looking beers, and everything from nice microbrewed standard-style beers up to the higher-class specialty beers.
Service is very friendly, without being overly intrusive while you're browsing, and the prices seemed very reasonable, even on imports.
All in all, very excited to have found this place and will most certainly be going back for more!
Also, as its been pointed out that you can only pay cash, I should note that they now also have a PIN machine, so you can pay that way now as well.

A great place for harder to find beers. They have a great selection of UK-style beers, both from the UK and from Dutch micro breweries. A few Belgian style beers as well.
While the selection is not huge they have many beers that you can't find anywhere else. For the standard beers you can go to a standard liquor store.
Very nice service too, but beware that you can only pay cash.

Odd hours for this place, you should definitely call the guy to make sure it will be open. A small one room place but quite a good selection of Dutch beers and mostly ones I've never seen before. The guy running the place is very friendly and very helpful. They even have tastings there but I wasn't there for that. He brews his own beer as well. I bought a dark IPA, which I haven't tried yet with 80's newspaper cartoony labeling. Highly recommended, probably the best place in Den Haag and fairly centrally located. Be sure to note that it's not on the "main" street of the same name, it's one street further.
