Copenhagen 5/7 2019, 50 cl bottle from Ninkasira Bottleshop, Kbh N. As "Jurajskie Wiśnia w Czekoladzie". Silver and sober label giving the unnerving name of the beer Cherries in Chocolate and not much else.
Pours very dark brown - almost opaque - with a small off-white head. Settles s thin rim of foam running alongside the rim of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is extremely sweet and cloying. A Dessert Bonanza. Chocolate, sugar, cherries immersed in sugar. Perfumed sweet notes. The smell fits the name of the beer like glove.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, viscous, sticky, almost flat texture.
Flavor is heavy sweet with no detectable bitterness. Aftertaste is very sweet. Lingering.
This beer is not for me. You have to be very much into Cherries and Chocolate to appreciate it - and it also helps if you like the concept of stuffing very sweet filled chocolates into a beer bottle.

Pours clear, dark brown in color with 1/4 inch head. Smells incredible. Taste is cocoa and cola with slight smoky peat. Medium bodied, low carbonation, roasty. Nice and smooth. Excellent no gimmicks stout.
