Look, I like Pilsners, especially Czech Pilsners done right. This is not done right. Looks good; pours clear gold with a frothy white head and good carbonation. Faint aroma of saaz and metal. Sweeter than I expected. The saaz and is there, but its like someone poured a packet of Equal in my beer. A chemical-sweet ethyl flavor that I could not shake. Missing the bite that you would expect. Would not order again.

Sampled at Beer Appreciation Night at BJ's Woodland Hills
This is BJ's attempt at an honest Bohemian Pils.
Aroma is corny and grassy with a light continential pils malt aroma.
The beer is light body with a sweet malt finish. Saaz spicy bitterness cuts the maltiness and lingers for a long break.
