Had an 8oz taste of this one. Listed as AIPA, but it seems to be more of an English IPA.
Hazy gold body, slight rocky head. Tries hard to cling to the sides.
Bitter smell. Herbal hops, some sourness to it. Smells English.
Taste is English, no doubt. Bitter hops dominate, slightly sour. Middle is all bitterness and butterscotch. Good, though.
Semi crisp finish and doesn't have a clinging aftertaste. Good beer, perhaps mislabeled.

I believe this is the seasonal IPA that I had last night at B.J's. This one had a nice dark amber color with great head and retention. The smell of fresh hops were very apparent and that is usually a sign of good things to come. The flavor was that of a very balanced American IPA. Great hop bite up front, then the dry hop flavor opens up in your mouth along with a very balanced maltiness, and finnishes with a nice hoppy aftertaste. This is not a biting or complex as some but a very sessionable IPA nonetheless.

(Draught @ Papago Brewery)
The color as it sets in the glass a spectacular golden amber, the head planetary in size, creamy in consistency, bright white in color, after decomposing a satiny sheet of lace forms to seal off the glass. Hop aroma dominates the nose, citrus crisp, sweet malt underpinning, start sweet and malt laden, the top fair to middling in feel to the palate. Finish is prickly in its acidity, the hops POW, right in the kisser, aftertaste dry and hop spiciness last for a long time, certainly not meant for those not into hops.
