Cask @ Real Ale Fest
The beer is pulled from the cask a beclouded amber with a portly light tan head with the lace being a thin curtain to drape the glass. Nose is malt sweet, fresh and pleasing to the senses, start is nicely malted and somewhat sweet with the top fair to middling in feel. Finish is modest in its acidity, the hops apropos to the style, quite dry aftertaste, drinkable and a nice filler in between the killer IPAs.
