This beer was a surprise! Recommended to me at a BJ's because they were out of some other beers I tried to order. Great flavor for an IPA, a. It lemony with some pepper. Crisp and pleasant. I recommend it.

(draft, BJs, San Mateo) This IPA came off super good today. Had all the elements I love in an IPA. Hope this "collaboration" brew continues to stay on tap.

On tap at the Surf 'N' Suds Beer Festival held at Carpenteria State Beach in Carpenteria, CA.
Pours a hazy golden-orange with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus zest, earthy hop, and herbal hop aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, earth, and herbal hop flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with lots of different hop qualities all around.
Serving type: on tap.
