Appearance: Jet-black with very little in the way of a foam collar due to low serving temperature and a barkeep determined to get me my moneys worth in a pint glass
Aroma: Lack of foam = Lack of aroma. Managed to coax out chocolate with undertones of roasted malt as the brew warmed
Taste: Huge malt overtone with a tongue-bath of near chocolate perfection followed by a balanced finish. The taste is the exact opposite of what the mind conjures up when ordering a beer with 'wheat' in the name
Mouthfeel: Big, thick, chewy, and very well balanced
Drinkability: With the exception of the high ABV...I could sip this one all day long!
