I tried this on tap at the restaurant served chilled in a pint.
The color is medium amber with light hazed look and thick cream head with lace that sticks. The smell is great -lots of ginger with a tropical and slight woody aspect with slight floral quality and gentle yeast ester. The feel is spicy, ginger dominant with medium high carbonation and low sweetness enough to balance with moderate bitterness with a semi dry finish.
The taste is very good with a fresh ginger taste. I am a fan of ginger, I love it when it tastes like this with a fresh tropical peppery and slightly fruity flavor. The malt is low in the taste with mild sweetness and subtle caramel to keep it from becoming too unbalanced. This is a very good Ginger IPA, not sure I ever tried one before but I was pleasantly surprised with how enjoyable-recommend if you like fresh ginger.

Orangish Amber or tea. Nice head lace remains. Chewy, exotic fruit smell. Couldn't pick out the ginger. Really decent bitter and oily after taste. An excellent IPA.
