The beer pours a dark amber/brown color with a thick frothy offwhite head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is decent. It has a nice malty scent that boasts of crystal and roasted malts along with a dry, fruity aroma. The taste is decent as well. It has a dry, yet sweet flavor that boasts of crystal and roasted malts. It goes down easy and finishes earthy with some fruity notes. The mouthfeel is good. It is a full bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This is a pretty good brew. It has decent character, but this is nothing to go crazy for.
