Virtially foamless pour straight from a year-long aged cask. Yellow / copper body with a floral hoppy nose courtesy of a teepee full of Warrior hops. Clarity is good.
This is an aged cask version of BJ's Piranha Pale Ale, so the hop bill was already a nice one. Add the Warriors, age for a year and the results are a nicely rounded bitter cask with no sharp edges.
Midtaste is deep malt while the rounded floral hops make a quick appearance and an even quicker exit on the finish.
