The color is a reddish amber with a small head. The aroma has a delicate sweetness that includes some nuttiness. The taste has a complex malt profile, which includes nutty and earthy malt flavors. A moderate buttery taste and a little bit of fruitiness give this even more layers of interesting flavors. A touch of English hops just accenuates the intiricate malt body. The only downside here is that despite all of the complex flavors here, the overall strength of the malt seems just a little watered down, leaving nothing that totally grabs my attention.
