Pours a cloudy yellow body with a core of a much deeper golden hue. Off-white collar of foam dissipates quickly leaving a crescent ring at the top of the glass.
Nose is lightly spiced with traces of nutmeg, Belgian yeast, and a touch of sulfur. Entry is quiet with a well-organized mouthfeel.
Midtaste showcases a myriad of spices all working in concert so as to hide each others identities. The finish is dry and provides a double-feature close with a beautiful Belgian yeast fade and wonderful yeast/spice burps.
Over time this has mellowed and lost much of the rotten-egg aroma.
