A unique and delicious combination of a Belgian-style Tripel, which contributes more fruity complexity along with spicy notes, with the hop profile of an American IPA, which contributes an array of citrus and tropical fruit aromas/flavors and a bitter finish.

Pours murky hazy golden with big white frothy foamy cap from 1 pint 9.4 oz corked BJ beer club bottle. Notes of spiced bread laced with overly strong Belgium spice with flavors of banana, pineapple, pear, mango and IPA hops. Decent eclectic “Belgo-American Tripel Ale”. Strong 8.9% ABV with 50 IBU - cheers!

Beer Club 750ml poured into a snifter glass. Seeing this in a couple different places but the Belgian IPA moniker seems most fitting. Brewed in Temple Texas for the July/August beer club offering here in 2022.

Pour is a hazed golden with a half inch of whitish foam. Offers decent retention and lace. Aroma of some spicy yeast/hop notes. Lots of lemon and spice. Yeast notes, aka a Belgian Tripel, are missing in action. Taste is citric/hint of sour and some wheat notes. Richly coated in a sense and ABV is hidden behind a slightly sweet lemony finish. Overall I get what they're shooting for but in my world Tripel is not a word to mess with. See you in Brugge. Not bitter like a BIPA, lacks yeast notes of a Tripel yet offers some continental pils character. Sweet and potent, it is what it is.

Poured a slightly cloudy light-yellow gold body with minimal head. The aroma has a smattering of earthy hops and touches of Belgian yeast. Light, smooth, slightly sweet thanks to something akin to bubblegum yeast, with minimal citric hop notes and a crisp, zippy finish. Easy to drink but not flavorful and is mediocre at best.

Definitely a blend of a Belgian Tripel and an imperial IPA. Pear, banana, and clove blend with orange, lemon, mango, and pineapple. Very dank finish.

Unattractive beer with a slick feel and dull aftertaste. Not bad overall, but I won’t repeat.
