Pours amber red hazy with khaki frothy foamy cap that quickly fades to oblivion in glass pint from tall corked beer club bottle. This Bock-style lager is brewed with sweet honey and malty biscuit laced with citrus floral notes and faint orange rime zest. Nice 8.8% ABV punch with 30 IBU light bitter hop aftertaste make this an easy drinking lager.

Pours copper with no head. Aroma is fruity and malty. Taste follows, malty/honey sweet with enough hop bitterness. Feel is decent no problems here. Overall it's decent but nothing special.

From the "beer in a bag" in a snifter. This solid little bock pours a
red tinged amber color with a nice head of off white foam that
subsides to a thick ring, thin light layer, and shows light lacing.
Nose of breaded malts, honey, and faint orange zest. Flavors
lightly surpass the nose with orange zest touched honey with
light breaded malts and subtle herbal notes with touches of
astringent booze. Nice mouth feel; medium light body, light
carbonation, and a sweet malt driven finish.

Overall, a SOLID brew from a solid little brewery.

Chain or not, this is a nice little beverage!

Cheers

Served on tap in a tulip glass
Appearance – The beer pours very hazy deep amber color with a one finger head of just off white foam. The head has a fantastic level of retention, slowly fading over time to leave a touch of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is very subdued overall. It has some light notes of a wheat and honey smell as well as a touch of a graininess and a bit of a toast and grainy smell.
Taste – The taste begins with a sweeter flavor of caramel, some cherry, and some caramel mixed with a wheaty and doughy taste. As the taste advances some the caramel gets stronger and is joined by a decent showing of a honey sweetness. All the while there is a little bit of a banana and clove taste as well as some light grass that develops. While at 8.8 % abv. the alcohol is very well hidden and with a touch of grain, one is left with a somewhat sweeter, but fairly smooth, lighter “bock like flavor , but still robust taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness and creaminess for a brew of its strength and style with a carbonation level that is slightly higher. For the style a thicker body and slightly carbonation level may have better accentuated the bock flavors better. All in all however, the feel was OK.
Overall – All said, this is a decent brew. A little weak on the bock style, but overall rather tasty and flavorful.
