Served on tap at the new Livonia. Dark yellow with a thin cap of foam. Clear, once the chill condensation is wiped off of the glass. Nice aroma of biscuit and bread, some floral/grass once it's allowed to warm up a bit. Flavor is quite full for a 3.5% light lager, with bready/biscuit malt upfront and a grassy/pepper pinch on the finish. Clean flavor. Good example of the style.

On tap, with a pulled pork sandwich.
I'm not a fan of the BJ's brand (though it is better than The Ram by a factor of 100), but this one is an underrated gem. The initial snap is crisp and clean, and it finishes without the dull, ricy feeling that plagues most lagers. Well done.

On tap at BJ’s in Allen, Texas. The beer pours a clear, light yellow color with a white head. The aroma is heavy on the grain and pale malt, about like I expected. The flavor is also very light, with some grain and a little bit of grass from the hops. Light mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Not a great beer, but for a pale lager, this was pretty good.

Served on-draught into a 5 oz taster glass at BJ's Brewhouse in Glendale, California. Expectations were low. Reviewed from notes.
A: Pours a one finger head of fair cream, decent thickness, and okay retention. Colour is a semitransparent yellow.
Sm: Light aroma of barley and water. That's it?
T: Barley, stale cream, foul artificial lemon, and crappy malts. Poorly balanced and built. No complexity, subtlety, or layering. Watery. Bleh.
Mf: Smooth, wet, thin, and light. Garbage.
Dr: Hard to drink due to the low quality. I wouldn't have it again. Pathetic.

On tap at BJ's in Valencia, CA.
Pours a clear golden yellow with an off-white head that settles to an oily film on top of the beer. No lacing on this one. Smell is pretty bland with some grain, grassy, and fruity notes but all very subdued. Taste is the exact same way. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is not a very good beer. It's tastier than other light lagers but nothing I would ever get again.
