The beer pours a deep mahogany color, the head modest in size, frothy in texture, and the residual lace a nice fine sheet to cover the glass. Munich malt dominates the nose, sweet and delightful to the nose, fresh and crisp with a nice hop floral aroma also noticed, start is malt laden, sweet and the top middling in its feel. Finnish has a portly hop presence, moderate acidity, dry and somewhat bitter, a great Dopplebock to be sure, a real treat if youve not tried it.

The Doc did a bang-up job on this one. Tried it at the Chandler, AZ location at lunch today, but I didn't have anything to take notes on. However, it was such a good beer that I had to review it anyway.
Mahogany brown with a dark tannish head and great clarity. Rich malty aroma. Superbly balanced malt sweetness with a hint of hop bitterness. A showcase for malt: biscuity and bready, some roastiness. Clean lager fermentation really allows the malts to take center-stage. Full bodied with a pleasant carbonation level.
Give it a try before it's gone!
