On-tap at the Anaheim Hills location and served in a special Brewmaster's Reserve glass, on to the beer:

This beer is a deep reddish earth color with a head that retains well and leaves good lacing around the glass. Its aroma of pineapple and pine with a little crushed toffee adds to the anticipation of the taste, which doesn't dissapoint. A little more malt than hop forward, this imperial red offers toffee, caramel, doses of pine and pineapple, and a kiss of resin. The high alcohol level is masked very well, keeping things flowing. Its nearly full bodied, with a sappy and sticky sensation.

This will get the appetite going. A pleasant imperial red out of BJ's.
