This one is part of the brewmasters series.
A: half finger head on a slightly hazy bright gold body.
S: aroma is mild overall with honey, sweet corn and musty pale malts.
T: a lot if lemon custard for sweetness, sweet corn, musty pale malts, herbal hops almost of the noble variety although light and not very bitter.
M: light to medium somewhat oily body an moderate carbonation.
Overall: flavorful but a little too sweet for me. As malty as you would expect for the style which is what I assumed from the flavors and description.

On tap at BJ's in Valencia, CA.
Pours a clear orange with a foamy bone colored head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, honey, and some grassy aromas. Taste is much the same with grassy and corn tortilla flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer but the corn tortilla flavor I am getting from this one is odd.
