In tribute to our southern neighbors, we crafted an unparalleled contrast of sweet and heat with Mangoveza. Fruity bitterness upfront followed by a burst of habanero warmth provides a well-balanced IPA—unlike any other spicy ale. Come explore the uncharted territories of this invigorating IPA.

Smell is AMAZING--as is the rocky, huge white head. Really the look and smell is 4.5+, imho. The taste is a bit muddled and something is not gelling. Taste should have been brightened up a bit. Mouthfeel is a bit light for me. But ya, worth trying, for sure. A unique beer!

This is a surprise. Picked up this can as a substitute for Mango Even Keel which a friend asked me to get, but ended up drinking it. Didn’t even realize this had habanero as it is not mentioned on the front of the can, which is a pity because I love chili beer. Clearly a nod to Xocoveza and a variation on the Habanero Sculpin, and the execution is commendable. It achieves what none thought was possible: a mythical balance of hops, fruit, and heat. Very refreshing yet still an IPA. Bravo, Lattitude 33. Bravo.

12 oz. can:

Pours very slightly hazed golden. A thin head becomes wispy. Some lacing sticks.

The aroma is of mango with citric hop goodness (grapefruit) and some grass/pine. Mango ;present without overwhelming.

The taste is of sweet mango with bitter grapefruit and grass. A touch of habanero along with some alcohol lead to a warm, spicy finish.

It is smooth despite moderate kick of heat. Aggressive in a way, yet smooth and drinkable.

It's a unique brew. Mango enhances a hop-forward IPA with a touch of habanero in the finish. Interesting.

The first time I had this beer was at the beach when a friend brought a cooler full direct from the brewery. On a hot summer day, this beer rocks. To start with, I'm a fan of fruit beers from sours to lagers. The first time I ever had a pepper infused beer was a Mojave Rattlesnake Red (I think) from Indian Wells Brewing on a drive back from skiing at Mammoth Mt about 20 years ago. It was really good and totally different from anything I'd ever had. Since then we've come a long way on the craft brewing scene. Latitude 33 knows what they are doing which is cool because they are 5 miles from my house. :)

This combination of habanero and mango in this puppy is perfect for the style. Not sure how you could do much better. The mango aroma is inviting and it tastes really fresh. The mild heat from the pepper doesn't overpower the flavor either. Plus there's Just the right touch of very light bitterness from the hops to keep the mango flavor from being overly cloying. Need a really good, refreshing hot day beer? This is it!

I didn't expect to dislike it as much as I did. Definitely gave me the burning throat feeling from the hot peppers.

i truly expected to hate this, for one, i dont love pepper beers, and for two, mango is rarely a flavor i find natural in beer, always so sweet and forced, or else absent by being fermented out to nothing. shocker how much i liked this can actually. my first beer from these guys, who i may not have ever heard of before i had this one. a couple of hard to use ingredients done super well. the habanero flavor is slight but the heat is even less, a natural flavor fusion with fresh mango, but to not have it overtake it is awesome, and just a little throat warmth on the finish is all it has after the classically citrusy capsicum flavor in the middle. the mango is sweet and fleshy and ripe and natural, and its well dosed, still behind the hops for me, and bright in the nose as well, but its ipa still too which i think is awesome. the sweet is gone by the finish, but the freshness the fruit brings is not, and it sets up the hoppy finish really well. high carbonation too is perfect for something like this, and the little bit of bitterness at the end makes it almost crisp, especially for what it is. i could drink a few cans of this, totally unexpected, really nice, especially as spring starts to show its face...

Pours a golden copper color with slight visible carbonation. Two fingers of foamy soap suds white head.

Piney, sweet mango with a faint hint of warming in the background. Lots of citrus up front that blends nicely with that heavy mango aroma.

Pine forward in the taste. Slight bit of warming in the back of the taste. Strange but I have a bit of a tough time pulling out citrus on the taste. Mango is almost lost on the taste.

Mouth feel is fairly light with an easy finish.

Overall I really was expecting a bit more here. Seems a lot of folks say the mango just jumps out at you. On the smell I can pick up some mango. On the taste the beer struggled to pull up the mango or the citrus. The pine forward though is smooth and not overly bitter. The "burst of habenero warmth" that they say provides a "well balanced IPA" is also a struggle to find. There is just a hint of something at the back of the mouth but nothing like the Habenero Sculpin. So it is a good beer just seems to be lacking on some of the sizzle that the brewery is trying to sell the steak with.

This ipa is brewed with mango and habanero says the description. The pepper heat is really faint. The mango is there all along like a mango chutney.
Some hoppiness but no bitterness. Low sweetness. Nice malt profile, overall balanced

Clear copper gold with a thick soapy off-white head.
Lovely fruit notes on the nose and palate. Mango! Guava! Papaya!
Medium carbonation and a bit less than medium mouthfeel. A good amount of bitterness with a nice spicy kick on the finish. A tasty IPA.
