A - Dark, dark brown. Good head, slow to leave, good retention, nice sudsy lace.
S - Slightly smoky, some paprika and coffee.
T - Nice flavor for what was there. Not much of it. Bland, watery. Most disappointing aspect of this beer.
M - Med to light, creamy, easy to drink, balanced.
D - Boring. Sorry.

Poured black with nice khaki nitro head.
The smell was mostly of roasted coffee.
The taste was roasted coffee with a bitterness coming from the malt.
Super easy drinking beer and the nitro only helps. I was pretty impressed with this one and is a better alternative to Guinness for sure.

On tap at El Cajon Brewing Company.
A: Black with a finger of beige cream. Good retention and lots of lacing.
S: Light chocolate meets roasted grain and restrained coffee notes. I get a whisper of dark fruit esters that remind me of plum with accompanying earth.
T: Coffee blends with roasted grain and a lower moderate earthy bitterness. There's a faint acidic sourness on the back end and a touch of chocolate.
M: Medium body with moderate carbonation.
Overall: A respectable Dry Stout.
