Poured a gold with white head.
The smell was bready with some spice.
The taste was straight forward for the style but had no flaws to it. A little bitterness with a Belgian spice from the yeast. Some malt but not a whole lot.
Overall a decent beer but it was my least favorite of the 4 I tried.

On tap at El Cajon Brewing Company.
A: Yellow gold with a small white head.
S: Apple, banana, and pear. Spicy notes remind me of coriander and clove, maybe pepper as well. Malt is sweet and reminiscent of bread and wheat.
T: I detect apple and a little pear with a subtle spiciness I associate with peppery phenols. Belgian yeast character is evident and I get a little wheat and biscuit.
M: Lower medium body with upper medium to lower high carbonation.
Overall: A solid Belgian Pale Ale.
