Purchased from Carwyn Cellars in Thornbury. Came in a 330 ml can, Best Before date 14/06/19. Poured into a tulip.
Look: a bright golden yellow, with about 2-3 centimeters of fluffy head. This quickly subsides to about a .5 centimeters. Leaves some lacing.
Smell: mostly fruity on the nose, i'm mainly getting pineapple. A little green too with some pine poking through.
Taste: Passionfruit straight away. Once you are used to it a bit of pineapple comes through. Pretty neutral malt, a bit of sweetness, but I can't really make out any specifics. Slight bitterness at the end rounds it out.
Feel: lighter bodied, bubbly carbonation, bitterness comes through at the mid to back palate, length is is okay.
Overall: solid pale ale, fruity and refreshing, but left me wanting just a bit more.
