I had this one at the 4th Lititz Cask Beer Festival. Of the two beers Brecon brought to the festival, this was the one I liked best. It poured a light pale straw color with a fine ring of lacing that quicky disappeared. It had a decent nose for an English beer. Grassy hops and a mild citrus character with a mildly bready malt backbone. It's taste was equally surprising. I thought it was similar in taste to redhook esb. Packed with hops, not in an overly aggressive way. Mildly carbonation in the cask. Overall I was satisfied with this offering. I wouldn't seek this beer out, but if I were in a pub in the UK, I wouldn't hesitate to order one of these.
