On tap at the brewpub.
A: Served a dark brown color with a decent head that fdes to some lacing.
S: Aroma of roasted malt, with some chocolate and bit of spice.
T: Taste of roasted malt, mild chocolate sweetness with a bit of licorice in the background. Mild bitterness and the finish is quite dry.
F: Medium body, smooth and a bit creamy. Nice balance.
O: Enjoyable beer. Could be a bit more robust.

Pours dark brown with a massive head. Nose shows floral hops and soft nutty malt with hints of chocolate. Somewhat faint. Acidic flavours, also some savoury hints. Some faint roasty malt and nutty characters too. Could use more carbonation. Not great.

Somewhat hazy brown colour with a small and short lasted, light tan head. Poor head retention.
Earthy and slightly nutty aroma. Touches of liquorice. Something doesn't come together here.
Again it is a bit malty. The liquorice flavour is all over it and some fruitiness adds depth. I don't like a strange, underlying note that I can't quite describe. Weird.
Medium body with moderately high carbonation. A little spritzy.
Another average beer. The flavours are just a bit off in a strange way and it doesn't sing as a good beer should.
