Pours a dark mahogany color with a big frothy head that fades to good lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, some chocolate and a bit nutty. Taste of roasted malt, some chocolate and bit of coffee and nuts in the background. Mild bitterness and the finish is quite dry. Fairly medium body, smooth and a bit creamy. Nice beer for the style, nothing fancy, that goes down easy.

Gusher. Complete geyser upon opening. Beer went everywhere. Pours brown with a large head that quickly fades to nothing. Nose shows chocolate and nutty malt, but is pretty faint. Same story with the flavours, chocolate and soft roasted malt. Finishes very dry with a bold bitterness. Ridiculously over-carbed. Like a soft drink. Obviously some major kinks needing to be sorted out.

Slightly hazy amber-brown colour with no head. Not great.
Sweet and a bit earthy. Somewhat tart. Quite uninspiring and it falls just a bit flat.
Slightly nutty. Very sweet. Touches of phenolic. Mildly fruity. Uninteresting.
Light body with moderately-high carbonation. Too fizzy.
This is just a watery, boring Brown Ale. This is far too common amongst Australian brewers who just put something out for the hell of it but don't think it through first.
