called gc lite, and only listed at 3.7% abv when i was in, nice to see a mellow lager like this on for the warmer weather. not sure why its listed as an english pale ale here, thats definitely not what this is, unless of course it has changed over time. there were a couple of beers in here that were weird on the fermentation side, less than fully clean and maybe pushing phenolic in styles where that doesnt work, so it was nice to encounter such a tide one here, patiently done and very bright and dry, easier in a lesser strength brew like this sure, but its nevertheless appreciated. super pale yellow beer with just a short white head on it, not much going on with the aroma, a light cereal malt complexion and a lightly european lager essence, nothing more. the flavor shows a little bit of bittering hops, past balancing to almost pushing the limit for how light the beer is, but i kind of like the punch they pack without adding a ton of flavor. a refreshing beer when its nice and cold, one that could benefit from more carbonation, but i kind of like its minimal nature overall. certainly one of the more drinkable beers in here, and something i really havent seen enough of from the local breweries here yet...

On tap at CF Barrelhouse. Smooth, silky, malty. Was expecting a light lager, so was quite pleasantly surprised. Not much to look at, but a very easy drinker.
