Cranberry sour, 5% abv, on tap @ Crooked Flats, Eagle ID.
Pours a hazy but not turbid bright blood red...that is where the 'brightness' stops. Starts tart in the nose but doesn't pop like cranberry juice or a sour beer...minimal depth and complexity. The palate follows, tartness hits but then fades equally as fast into a slight sweetness that doesn't fit the beer.
Another Crooked Fence offering that I'm not thrilled with.

Grunt fill from Albertsons. Pours out a pinkish hue, small ring of head. Musty aroma, shades of yeast, seems sweet. Taste brings some sourness, a bit of salt. Some gose character. That same saltiness tempers the pucker.
