On tap at CF taproom. Average wheat ale, lacking the German wieizen characteristics. Greenish gold with minimal head. Faint bread aroma, bland taste, weak palate. Pass...

22oz bomber. No bottle date in the space for the bottle date. Poured this one into my Victory Golden Monkey tulip. Thanks to eclipse54 for this one!

A: It has some nice carbo. Hazy golden orange color. Bright white head fades quickly. No alcohol feet.

S: Citrus. Orange. Sweet bready malt. Not as spicy as other Hefi.

T: This is a law mower beer for sure. Very easy drinking. Not much there. You get some orange and citrus, and a touch of spice (not a lot). Pale and wheat malts.

M: Light bodied. Clean finish.

Smell- You want orange. It's not there. But you do get the wheat.
appearance- Nice and heffy. Orange in color you could say. White ring stays the whole time but no lasting head otherwise.
Taste- mildly sweet. I would have loved a little more sweetness. Perhaps I was comparing to the orange blossom from TR. You can taste the wheat with bread coming through.
Palate- Light, really light with co2 taking hold often.
Overall- Not a bad beer. I am sure I will be getting several growlers this summer.

Picked up tonight at the COOP ... Paid $4ish... poured into my slim goblet.. good white head... meringue... decent retention and no real lacing.... the brew is a hazed light orange.

Nose is grainy... pale malt and wheat malt.. hints of malty sweetness... seemingly some orange zest notes are a bit odd.

Grainy malts and again some minor orange essence.. not much going on with the palate...

It seems surprisingly thick for the style and ABV.. the wheat has done nothing to thin this out.... pretty clean on the yeast front... a light carbonation accentuates the thicker body...

Not really sure what to think about this one.... Too much body... any "orangey additions" are not needed.. needs to be significantly more thin to get a nice drinkability.... too much body makes me think about the mash temps, but what do I know?

I don't know why any brewer would make an "American Wheat" as a year rounder... I doubt it could ever be "different" enough to distinguish itself as something folks buy over any other pale ale/ipa/amber, etc.

For the style, decent aroma and flavor but is a bit heavy on the body and light carbonation.
