A: Poured somewhat of a hazy burnt copperish color with a light dirty white cap with traces of spotty lacing clinging to the wall of the glass.
S: So far so good...the senses are greeted with an initial raisin, caramel, candy sugar with a light whiff of wood and bourbon
T: Money. Initial sweetness upfront from caramel, candy which leads right in to copious amounts of dark fruits; mainly raisins but some plum is noted. The bourbon is nice and balanced here, it is tasted initially blended with the mainstay of he beer but its no overpowering bourboness here. When I roll the beer acrossmy tongue is whe the light bourbon, vanilla and sharp little booze sting becomes a bit more evident. The finish is sweet, nearly decadent, sweet an lightly sticky
M: Medium to medium-full bodied, well carbonated, sweet and flavorful
O: Delightful. This beer had just the right time in the barrel. Another killer beer from DUO.
