A: Poured a clear golden color with great transparency, a small yet whispy white head sits atop of this beauty. A little bit of lacing is present as I slowly sipped it down.
S: I smelled applesauce and cider with a nice underlying brett character providing a wee bit of baby diaper and some hay. A little bit of spice comes to mind
T: The taste does not venture far from the nose. A nice bit of apples and sweetness upfront with perhaps a pear or two for good measure. Libbey says he received some pineapple as well. The brett shines on this beer but is still in perfect harmony with the base. A nice baby diaper meets hay meets horseblanket underneath the golden ale base. The spice seems to be rearview now and I detect a little banana. The finish is "bretty", clean and dry.
M: Light-medium body, well carbonated, great body, refreshing. Lots of flavor, no off flavors here. This beer is on target.
O: Out of 23 sours we ran through this was one of the tables most memorable due to its full flavor and cleanliness. Well done Dan!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
