A - Poured black with one finger of beige head. Good lace rings and a half finger of retention.
S - Candy canes and a very subtle stout character. Mostly peppermint.
T - Less aggressive candy cane flavour than the aroma. It's still there but less intense. Rich stout flavour, but the peppermint really dominates above all else.
M - Medium body, a bit thin for the style. Dry finish and medium carbonation.
O/D - A very odd beer for me. Not a huge peppermint fan so it wasn't a hit for me. Granted, it's very original. I could go for a half pint, but any more would be tough. A good idea for Christmas, but just not my scene.
