On cask at Brauhaus Schmitz yesterday.
Light amber with a thin white head with decent retention and lacing, this is solid stuff. The nose is excellent. Fresh and vibrant, there's a mild hop character, grassy and green with moderate caramel, bread and a touch of fruit. There's a light sulfur character too, but this is fantastic. The palate opens moderately hoppy with a light earthy, grassy character with a moderate fruit bread character. Drying on the finish, this is great! Medium-light in body with moderate carbonation, I can drink this all day. Unfortunately (for this beer), there was lambic to be consumed...

From a gravity feed keg at Max's yesterday...
The beer pours an light amber color with OK good head retention and lacing. The nose is intriguing, as I get something of smokey, bacon fat aroma, wrapped around some light sweet malt. The smokey flavor isn't as pronounced on the palate, and this marzen is fairly dry, with a light bitter finish. Mouthfeel is fairly light, but with plenty of flavor, and drinkability is very good.
Another very nice beer, and all the more fun to drink out of the gravity fed keg.
