Aroma: Typical Pils malts, quite strong, but not much else, pleasant and aromatic.
Flavor:
Front: Bitterness and tartness with some sweet Pils malt in the background, which is unusual I find.
Mid: More bitterness and tartness with lots of Pils sweetness.
Back: Again, more of the above with sweet Pils malts intermingled.
Aftertaste: same as the taste, sweet Pils malts and bitterness and tartness.
Mouthfeel: Same as above for the regular Pils.
Overall: mmm, it's hard to rate. Tastes good, but nothing special. Extremely pleasant and balanced, but I find it's leaning more toward the bitter side vs. malt sweetness, which I like. 4 of 5.

I got this beer in a six-pack from good friends that visited Germany. THAT what friends are for!
Clear golden beer with a foamy, white head that leaves a lot of lacing on the glass.
Nose: Caramel malt, pilsner malt, honey, bread, floral notes and grain.
Taste: Malty, both caramel and pilsnermalt. Sweet grainy malt. Crisp and clean. Floral, grass and herbs.
Mouth: Medium to light body. A dry an light bitter ending.
Easy drinking beer that I really like a hot day!

Hartmann-Bräu "Hartmann Edelpils"
,5L brown glass bottle, "Mindestens haltbar bis: 17.03.18F" and sampled on 25.09.17
8,50€/sixpack at the Brauerei Gasthof
Look: Fingerprint-through-the-glass clarity in a straw gold body beneath a full head of frothy bright white that holds remarkably well and leaves some very nice lacing behind.
Smell: Grainy, straw-like malt and lightly herbal and leafy hops greet you in the nose.
Taste: Solidly bitter to be sure, the sweetish grainy malt is easily balanced, and spicy, grassy, floral, tea-like, and herbal hop notes linger in the dry, bitter finish.
Feel: Medium-light in body and gently crisp across the palate.
Overall: A surprisingly hoppy and bitter pils. It's got good balance with some sweetish malt upfront, hops across the middle and into the lingering finish, and a good punch of drying bitterness that lingers - but it somehow lacks the charm of their other beers.

From the tap at the brewery, it pours a golden color with a nice head. Lacing as you enjoy it. Nose gets hops and malt, followed by the mouth getting the nice hop bitterness with the malt flavor.

500ml bottle into .3l bierkrug in Bamberg, Franconia (NOT Bavaria!), Germany. Reviewed live.
A: Four finger head of no cream, decent thickness, and average retention. Clear yellow colour.
Sm: Clean barley. Pretty bad.
T: Just a barley body with a slight stale cream finish. Bleh. Simple and pretty crap. Unbalanced and poorly built. The finish is awful, and unfortunately it lingers.
Mf: Too smooth and too wet.
Dr: Average ABV, crap quality, great price. This is what we call a "student beer".

A little sweeter then most pils. It's a simple pale malt sweetness that tastes like it held a stew of spring flowers. Lightly sweet floral aroma is just slightly grassy. Fine bright white head faded quickly to a thin ring. Streams of tiny bubbles rise through the pale straw colored beer. Light, slightly watery mouthfeel. Not bad, not good, just o.k.
