The SBA is a medium-high malt body beer with slight caramel undertone, it finishes smooth with very subtle hop and roasted flavors.

On tap at Fifty Seven Degrees in San Diego. Handsome dark amber in the glass with a fine creamy head. Warm and sweet. A vanilla taste with some toffee. Lots of caramel. Slightly sharp and finally a scratch of hoppy bitterness.
Less biscuity and more graham crackers. Big malt and an odd bitter finish that's unappealing. Nice nose of citrus and caramel. This is another oddball beer from the seemingly endless array of new San Diego County breweries.
