Poured from a growler into a pint glass. Pours pitch black with a light brown head that dissipates pretty quickly but leaves some lacing. Smells of chocolate and slight coffee, nice and sweet. Tastes of slight coffee and chocolate tastes, but not overly strong, with a nice bitter aftertaste. Beer is carbonated nicely but a little on the heavy side, and finishes nice for its light/medium bodied. Overall, very good beer.
