1-22-2016 - Stopped by the brewery on my way home from work to pick up something heavy for the snow storm.. and as usual, get sucked into a pint of the lovely PITA before leaving.
L - Dull orange with a frothy head, slow to dissipate, mild lacing.
S - Pleasantly aromatic citrus, fruity nose.
T - Fruity, not overwhelmingly bitter. Resiny bitterness comes with the initial sip but is short-lived and replaced by a steady sweetness.
M - Refreshingly smooth. Full bodied yet drinkable. No harshness, no lingering burn.
O - This was the first Spider Bite beer i ever filled a growler with (~7 months ago?). I get it every time its on tap at the brewery. Highly recommended..

Caught a post on Facebook that spider bite had just dropped off a slim of this brew (the first keg from the new system in Holbrook) so I Grabbed a fill on my way home from work. Per the post, this one is brewed with citra and centennial hops (yum!), enjoyed from an IPA glass.
a - pours a deep murky sienna orange (looks pretty spot on color wise with apple juice). Generous frothy white IPA like head that hung out and left massive chunky lace.
s - nose is marvelous. Fresh ripe citric blast with wet sticky fresh resin some hints of lemon and orange but mostly a rich lush wet citric blast.
t/m/o - very yum. Unlike the nose, the taste leads with wet resinous hops but finishes with a tropical burst of juiciness. Really refreshing and fairly full bodied, almost chewy while still having a watery element to it, perhaps it is the soft carbonation? Really solid offering. Very glad I got to try this one fresh. Nothing super distinguishing about it but a really solid fresh full bodied IPA with no bitterness at all. Worth checking out.
