A: The beer is brown when viewed from afar but when held up to a bright light it is slightly hazy dark reddish amber in color with a moderate amount of carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high beige head that gradually died down and left a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of chocolate malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of nutty and chocolate malts.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer drinks rather easily for an Imperial Brown Ale and has interesting aromas and flavors of chocolate malts.
Serving type: can

swung by the tasting room after work to check out some suds, including queen melba. I've long been a fan of melba town and find that spider bite brews some of the best of the less loved styles like brown ales...and this is a homerun. deep semi transparent brown. big Brown sugar on the nose, tons of roast, coffee...really fantastic flavor. big bold and unapologetic. all hail the queen.
