Basic boring old craft brew here.
malty, peanut-flavored, hurried.
slick metallic sheen to the broad hoppy extracts before the roast and stem tannins bring the alcoholic sweet mid palate to a quick conclusion. There is an odd, machine-like flavor of burning grease that haunts this otherwise ambitious beverage.
Approach with caution.
NOTE: reports from trusted sources indicate this brewery makes a good barreled product. It must be stressed that faults in these bottled goods probably originate somewhere in the bottling process.

Pours a hazy, depp copper and maroon color. One finger bright white head that leaves thin but fluffy sheet of lace on the glass.
Aroma is sweet, sweet caramel, some sugar notes and a touch of floral hoppiness.
Flavors of modest malt, caramel up front followed by a lazy and mild hop bitterness that finishes rather abruptly.
Mouthfeel was somewhat thin and beer needed to have a little stronger texture IMHO.
Drinkability was decent but nothing special.
