Opens with a solid whoosh of steam, pouring out to a sediment rich dark ruby, forming a small dark beige head which quickly recedes and with no lacing. Carbonation is mild. Aroma...green kiwi fruit, a touch of caramel, wet husk, a very faint suggestion of roasted character. Mouthfeel is lively, tart and with a medium body. Taste of fruity and spicy green hops with kiwi fruit, a nice roasted character with toast and chocolate, more kiwi fruit, and then lots of mellow tobacco intensifying in the finish. Finish has astringency of roasted barley with no perceptable alcohol or off-flavors.

Schizophrenic beer. Kinda odd with the green kiwi fruit, but I like the complementary tobacco and toast. Intrigued. I wonder what this tastes like on tap, though in the bottled form it's way out of style. I'd drink it again.

I have now given up on trying to buy bottled Kraftbrau. This was horrible. It poured a burnt amber color but with no head or any sign of carbonation. It was sickly sweet in taste and had no body to speak of. This reminded me of some bad homebrew. The guys at Kraftbrau need to figure something out before bottling again. Maybe I'll go to their brewery sometime and see if the beer is any better there. Can't be much worse!

Small head full of small to medium bubbles that quickly disappear. It has a dark red transparent color. Its taste is carbonated and very smooth. It has OK lacing and a slight malty aroma. A nice brew, buy I found it's aroma and tastes hard to describe.

This beer was a dark reddish amber color and had a nice off-white head which left some lace. It had an aroma of malt and hops. The flavor was of the malt. The finish was a quite dry and it had a medium body.
