Not sure if this is the same stout I sampled, because the board simply had it labelled "Stout" without all of the extra name, but it seemed to be an Irish Dry attempt, so my review falls under this.
Pour and smell, both about dead-on average. The beer was black and it had a bit of a head. The smell, well, stouty I suppose. Some malts were evident, not a lot else.
The flavour on this started out with roasted malts, but the piney hops that Kraftbrau tends to use for all of their beers showed up here again and seemed to be noticeably stronger than the roasted character. The flavour otherwise seemed so-so, but I think the roasted aspect should have been a little more prominent, so the beer is mildly marked down here.
Mouthfeel and drinkability, both about average. Easy enough to drink, but not amazing. Ditto on the mouth, it was a bit tingly, but one would expect that and the body was fairly thin, though that is normal for this style.
Basically: nothing special about this stout. If you want something dark while you're visiting Kraftbrau it's available, but I was non-plussed.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
